Frost & Ruth Myers Memorial Scholarship Fund
The selection of the scholarship recipient is based on the following criteria: (For High School graduates and returning college students.
1. Applicant must be a member of First United Methodist Church, Waxahachie.
2. The applicant must be a graduating his school senior or a student presently enrolled in a degree program at a university or higher learning facility.
3. Academic standing: Although an important consideration, grades may not necessarily be the determining factor for awarding a scholarship. A verified copy of the most recent GPA must accompany the scholarship application. Failure to do so will disqualify the applicant form scholarship consideration.
4. Citizenship: List in the appropriate space on this form, your involvement in church and/or community activities, any offices held, and/or any other outstanding contributions to society.
5. Financial Need: Please attach a handwritten or typewritten statement of approximately 100 words indicating your financial need and your reasons applying for the scholarship.
