The “Awakening” is a contemporary service that provides an opportunity for all persons to glorify God through singing and the word.  This service is a vibrant representation of worship and gives a space for persons of all ages to partake in the grace of God through singing the glorification of the creator, redeemer, and sustainer.  Come and participate in worship, sign along with the Praise Band, and listen to provocative sermons.

The "Awakening" Contemporary worship service rarely follows a standard pattern; this is by design.  One of The Awakening’s goals is to constantly explore new worship styles to create a new and fresh worship atmosphere. This contemporary worship service is a less formal but is an equally spiritual worship opportunity.

The Awakening service is a family friendly service which welcomes persons of all ages.  We have activity packets for children to enjoy during worship as a way to provide a welcoming experience both for parents and children alike.  The church nursery is just down the hall from our worship space for the little little ones.

How do I get Involved?

Opportunities abound to get involved with The Awakening. From serving as a communion steward or scripture reader to a greeter or musician; there is a chance for anyone to contribute by using their gifts and abilities.  Volunteers are the life of our church and our worship service.   First Connections is a ministry employed at our church to first connect individuals with God and then to connect them to each other through Christian love and service.  This program begs us all to gather into ministry to everyone through the use of our God given gifts and abilities.  Every person has been endowed with the spirit of Christ and has been given the ability to act accordingly.
